If you suspect that is the cause, then it is time to make a visit to your health care provider or dentist. Diabetes, allergies, nasal congestion and drainage, sore throats, oral cancer, and oral lesions and infections can all cause you to have chronic bad breath. If you can't seem to get rid of your bad breath by regular brushing and flossing, then it is a possibility that there is a medical condition that you need treatment for.
Eat a healthy diet and drink water: When you eat a healthy diet and drink lots of water, you can help your breath stay fresh. In fact, many experts will tell you that if you can't brush right away after a meal, have a snack of sliced apples. In addition, plenty of water keeps you hydrated. A dry mouth will also cause you to have bad breath.
Stop smoking: When you smoke, or use any type of tobacco problems, you are contributing to bad breath. Smoking causes all kind of oral health issues and stains your teeth, as well. If you are a smoker or a tobacco user, kick the habit to gain a fresher and healthier mouth.
